LTL service is utilized when a customer wants to transport material directly from their premises to their client's premises at the destination but does not have enough material to constitute a Full truck. The reason for requirement of door-to-door service may vary from the safety of material due to the fragile nature of cargo, time bound commitments or simply for the sake of convenience. However, since the material quantity is not very sizeable, it becomes very expensive for a customer to send their material exclusively using a full truck. In such a case, our LTL service comes in handy as we provide all the facilities that the same customer would want but at a much more reasonable price.
In our LTL service, material is collected from the customer’s unit at their given time and then our company hub consolidates material with other cargo and moves it further. Complete precaution is taken in loading and unloading the cargo at the hub. While clubbing the LTL material with other cargo, utmost care and attention is paid to the nature of goods so that the material being transported does not get damaged. The most important feature of our LTL service is that the material is made to arrive at final destination using only one transshipment which is at its point of origin. We load the material in same vehicle at the very first hub in which it will get door delivered to the client at the destination. In cases, where material is over 5 ton, we pick up and deliver the LTL material in same vehicle, and add other material from our hub, resulting in zero transshipment for our customer.
By following this procedure, our customer gets the benefit of almost using an exclusive vehicle for their material and that too at a small fragment of the price. Hence, it comes as no surprise that the service is very popular with small medium manufacturers and leading publishing houses.
